It was a great joy on Rusengo hill in Muyinga Province.
🔵 The #delegation was made up of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of National Solidarity, Social Affairs, Human Rights and Gender, the Ministry of East African Community Affairs, Youth, Sports and Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation as well as a multi-sectoral team from @UNICEF Burundi led by the Deputy Resident Representative of UNICEF Burundi.
🔵 The joint UNICEF-Government delegation had come to assess SaCoDé's #hygiene #promotion achievements in the #Muyinga commune.
🔵 In fact, since #September_2021, #SaCoDé has been implementing an #emergency_project that aims to #educate and #sensitize the communities of Muyinga and Butihinda on #better_hygiene_practices in order to #lutter_against the #COVID19 pandemic as well as other diseases linked to poor #hygiene.
🔵 Activities are based on #communication and #community_awareness for a #change in #hygiene #practices and the #distribution of #hygiene #kits to needy people to #accompany them in adopting healthy #hygiene #practices.
