Bonne fête à toutes les filles.
Chaque année le 11 octobre, le monde célèbre la journée internationale de la fille. Le thème choisi pour cette année 2017 est "Autonomisons la fille: avant, pendant et après la crise. »
On compte actuellement 1.1milliard de filles dans le monde et toutes les 10 minutes, une adolescente meurt quelque part victime de violences basées sur le genre. Une jeune fille capable, pleine d'énergie, d'inspiration, bref pleine de savoir faire.
Dans le but de célébrer cette journée, l’organisation SaCoDé s'est jointe à un panel de discussion organisé par RET international à Muyinga et Kirundo. Les thèmes abordés étaient: les violences basées sur le genre,le mariage précoce et forcé , abandon scolaire pour la jeune fille, autonomisation économique de la fille rurale.
Il ne s’agissait pas seulement de parler des causes mais également de proposer des solutions à ces problèmes.
Les panelistes ont partagé leurs expériences dans la gestion de ces problèmes dont fait face la fille burundaise et surtout des solutions. Quelques filles ayant été victimes de tel ou tel autre crime nous ont partagé leur expérience sur comment elles ont pu s'en sortir. Elles ont souligné que l’éducation et l’autonomisation financière sont une solution pour un bon avenir de la fille.
L’activité a vu la participation des représentants des différentes organisations dont RET, SaCoDé et NTURENGAHO, l’administration locale de Muyinga sans oublier les deux dauphines de MISS BURUNDI 2017.
Happy Girl’s Day to all the girls.
Every year on October 11th, the world celebrates the International Day of the Girl Child. The theme chosen for this year 2017 is "Empowering the Girls: Before, during and after crises." There are currently 1.1 billion girls in the world and every 10 minutes, one teenage girl dies somewhere, victim of violence based on gender. A capable girl, full of energy and inspiration . In order to celebrate this day, the SaCoDé organization joined a discussion panel organized by RET international in Muyinga and Kirundo. The topics covered were: gender-based violence, early and forced marriage, school drop-out for girls, and economic empowerment of the rural girl. It was not only a matter of talking about the causes but also of proposing solutions to these problems. The panelists shared their experiences in the management of these problems facing the burundian girl and the main solutions to those problems. Some girls who were once victims of that kind of crime told us about their experiences. They stressed that education and financial empowerment are a solution for a good future for the girl. The event was attended by representatives of the various organizations, including RET, SaCoDé and NTURENGAHO, the local administration of Muyinga and the two runner ups of MISS BURUNDI 2017.
