Célébration du prix "Africa innovation Challenge 2016"
Ce vendredi 17 Mars, l’ambiance était à la fête dans les locaux de l’organisation SaCoDé.
Toutes les équipes d l'organisation SaCoDé sont venues accueillir et féliciter la directrice exécutive et fondatrice Mme NIBIZI Grâce Françoise. Elle était de retour du « Global Entrepreneurship Congress » qui s’est déroulé à Johannesburg où elle s’est vu décerner le prix de l’« Africa Innovation Challenge 2016 »par le groupe pharmaceutique Johnson & Johnson.
La directrice exécutive a souhaité célébrer cet événement en compagnie de l’ensemble des équipes de l’organisation SaCoDé et des participantes à la formation Isuku. Elle les a donc convié à un déjeuner à la suite duquel elle a parlé de son séjour à Johannesburg ainsi que des décisions prises suite à cette expérience. Elle a expliqué que le caractère innovant du projet Agateka ainsi que sa structure autonome sont les aspects qui ont séduit l’entreprise Johnson & Johnson et que ce sont les atout que doit avoir chaque projet réalisé par SaCoDé; « La vente des serviettes hygiéniques lavables et réutilisables Agateka nous permet de financer la production d’autres serviettes qui à leur tour sont destinées à être distribuées dans les établissements scolaires aux jeunes élèves n’ayant pas la possibilité de s’offrir des serviette hygiénique jetables».
Par la suite certains membres de l’assemblée ont pris la parole à tour de rôle afin d’exprimer leur satisfaction quant à leur participation aux différents projets réalisés par l’organisation SaCoDé ainsi que pour féliciter personnellement la directrice exécutive. Pour finir Mme NIBIZI a tenu remercier toutes les personnes présentes pour leur implication dans les initiatives de l’organisation et les a invité à faire un tour sur la piste de danse afin de clôturer la cérémonie dans la joie et la bonne humeur.
Celebration of the 2016 “Africa Innovation Challenge” Award
On Friday March 17, the atmosphere was celebratory at SaCoDé’s Headquarters in Bujumbura.
All the teams came to welcome and congratulate the Executive Director and founder Mrs NIBIZI Grace Françoise. She had just returned from the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Johannesburg where she was awarded the 2016 Africa Innovation Challenge Award by the Pharmaceutical Johnson & Johnson.
The Executive Director wished to celebrate this event with all of the SaCoDe teams and the participants in the ISUKU training. She invited them to a luncheon after which she spoke about her stay in Johannesburg and the decisions taken as a result of that experience. She explained that the innovative character of the Agateka project, as well as its autonomous structure, is the aspect that attracted the company Johnson & Johnson; and that these are the assets that every SaCoDé project must have. "The sale of Agateka washable and reusable sanitary pads allows us to finance the production of other pads which are intended for distribution in schools to young students who cannot afford disposable sanitary pads."
Subsequently, some members of the Assembly spoke in turn to express their satisfaction with their participation in the various projects carried out by SaCoDé organization, and to congratulate the Executive Director personally. Finally Mrs NIBIZI thanked all those present for their involvement in the initiatives of the organization, and invited them to the dance floor to conclude the ceremony joyfully.
